The successor to the ROCCAT Kone Max Customization Gaming Mouse will be the centerpiece of the show. Cutting-edge technology and never-before-seen, innovative features will impress gamers and amaze fans – and the gamescom public will already be able to try out the first examples at the ROCCAT stand.

PC Gamer test the Roccat Pyra
Our final round up for the Roccat Pyra reviews today comes from PC Gamer who awarded it 83/100
This tiny wireless rodent is capable of 1600dpi and 1,000MHz polling, and recharges via USB. It’s remarkably comfortable to use, but the tiny transmitter is easy to lose and you need a separate USB port for the charger. The side buttons are hard to hit, too. Despite this, it’s the best partner for something as portable as the Alienware’s M11x
PCZone’s take on the Roccat Pyra
PCZone were more impressed with the Roccat Pyra’s battery life however and labelled it ” for gamers who commute ”
CONVENIENT AND FLEXIBLE, the Pyra Mobile Wireless has excellent range, a very solid battery life (with USB recharging, too) and works like a dream.
This is a luxury product with luxurious results
PCFormat review the wireless Roccat Pyra
Some members of the print media were supplied with a Roccat Pyra each recently for review and the verdicts are in ! firstly from PCFormat who awarded it 85/100
WIRELESS MOUSE ROCCAT PYRA
This diminutive li’l rodent from Roccat is a neat wireless gaming mouse and no mistake. If you’re into your notebook gaming then having a small, accurate, wireless mouse makes perfect sense. And the Pyra ticks all those boxes. It really is very small, but thanks to the smart, angular design it rests perfectly between thumb and third finger, leaving your middle and index fingers free to do what they do best – click things.
It’s been designed to be as versatile as possible from the ground up. The symmetrical stylings mean that it’s as usable for those sinister lefties as it is for the rest of us, and it also comes with a hardware switch to allow you to switch around the left and right buttons should you so desire.
ROCCAT Pyra Wireless Mouse Review on Vortez.co.uk
Thomas Koflach (technokid) of Vortez.co.uk writes:
Mice designed for gamers on the move seem to be in short supply, especially those that cater for left handed users as well as right. ROCCAT have managed to satisfy both criteria extremely well. The attention to detail is great, with fantastic packaging and simple, easy-to-use software complementing a well designed and solidly engineered mouse.

First online review for Roccat Pyra 9/10 !
Written by Stephen Bennett of Geeksmack
I must say, that after using this mouse for a decent period of time that it is another quality product from ROCCAT studios, it’s comfortable, accurate and has plenty of customisation options available, you’re not losing out on the main features of a gaming mouse by buying a mobile mouse here at all. It’s a good product worth your money and I can’t find any flaws at all.

The ROCCAT April Open Bonanza with EnemyDown and Meroncourt

The newly rejuvenated Enemydown has announced a new competition entitled The ROCCAT April Open Bonanza. The idea behind it is to reward teams for activity in the CS:S open ladder.
In order to do this Enemydown has teamed up with ROCCAT and Meroncourt and will provide an opportunity for teams to win one of the three sets of prizes.
All you have to do is play matches on the open ladders during the month of April to be in with a chance to win. Only teams who are in the open ladder as of the 31st of march 2010 qualify for this event.
Our first prize will go to the team who tops the ladder at precisely 23:59 on April 30th 2010 and 5 lucky clan members will win a ROCCAT Arvo keyboard each! each.
For those who aren’t perhaps ready to top the ladder, you still have a great chance to win with 5 ROCCAT Kova mice up for grabs to the team who plays the most games in a open ladder (not overall activity) during April and best of all, it doesn’t matter what game you play as long as you are playing in an open ladder, it is open to all!
Finally, for those who are neither the most active or most successful, we have given you a chance to win too. All you have to do is have your team inside the top 20 on the Open CSS ladder at 23:59 on April 30th 2010 to be in with a chance to win a the excellent ROCCAT Apuri (5 per team). The winner will be drawn at random from the top 20 finishers.
