SL-6398-SBK_presse01The ultra precise 5000dpi laser mouse packs first-class technology and a whole host of configuration options in an ergonomic body.

With the Kudos, SPEEDLINK presents a gaming mouse of the highest order. Equipped with an ultra precise 5000dpi laser sensor, this mouse delivers both pixel-perfect accuracy as well as maximum speed.

Nine programmable buttons can be assigned freely configurable functions – using the macro manager, command sequences can be executed at the press of a single button. A total of five profiles are available under which the buttons can be assigned different functions for different games and applications. The profiles can be switched between at the press of a button – a multi-coloured LED indicates which profile is currently in use. The mouse’s DPI setting can be adjusted in four steps – with four blue LEDs on the face of the mouse indicating the status at all times. In addition the internal memory allows gamers to take their settings with them and use them on other computers. The whole package is rounded off by a weight system featuring six 6g weights.

Precise cursor movements

In conjunction with the 1000Hz polling rate (USB 2.0) and the 150ips tracking speed, the 5000dpi laser mouse delivers fluid and precise pointer movements. Low-sense gamers will love the precision at low resolution settings, while high-sense gamers will be able to glide the cursor across the screen at breakneck speeds and with great accuracy.

Custom settings

The macro manager allows macros to be assigned to all buttons – including the 4D scroll-wheel. A total of five profiles are available meaning each button can execute a total of five functions. Switching between profiles is made easy thanks to a macro button on the mouse. Gamers know which profile they’re using based on the colour of the multi-coloured LED – the colours of which can be individually set using the driver software. The internal memory allows up to 2900 macro steps to be stored on the mouse itself. It’s even possible to record pauses between commands if required – even mouse functions can be integrated into the macro. Each macro can be edited afterwards.

DPI settings: from 90 to 5000dpi

Just like with the profiles, the laser sensor’s resolution can be switched on-the-fly at the press of a button even during a game. Four blue LEDs on the face of the mouse indicate which step has been selected. Gamers can choose from over 50 settings between 90dpi and 5000dpi for each step and thus very precisely specify how mouse movements are transmitted.

Great handling:

The right-handed shape of the SPEEDLINK Kudos Gaming Mouse fits perfectly in the hand. The thumb buttons are suitably large and well positioned. The non-slip scroll-wheel is extra-wide and the distinct notch positions improve gaming comfort; the side grips have also been given a non-slip coating to ensure the mouse fits securely in the gamer’s hand. Six 6g weights allow the weight of the mouse to be increased by up to 36g to suit requirements. In addition, large mouse feet offer low friction and optimise the gliding characteristics of the SPEEDLINK Kudos – and should the mouse feet wear out, a second set is included.

The SPEEDLINK Kudos Gaming Mouse will be available across Europe from 24 October with a RRP of €49.99.
