With noticeably more power under the hood, really useful core improvements to the shell, plus the EasyShift[+] button , the ROCCAT Kone[+] is the next step in the further development of the prize-winning Kone Gaming Mouse. The 6000dpi Pro-Aim Laser Sensor, in conjunction with its 10.5 megapixel resolution and 1000Hz polling rate, offers maximum precision, even transmitting lightning fast mouse movements with up to 30Gs of acceleration and with speeds of up to 200ips (5.08m/s) without loss or lag. Thanks to the integrated TDCU, the sensor adjusts to suit the mousepad exactly, which noticeably improves tracking and reduces pick-up-flight syndrome. And with 576kB of onboard memory, up to 5 profiles including macros can now be stored on the mouse. On top of that, the driver delivers sound feedback – spoken by the famous ROCCAT voice – for dpi switching etc., plus it includes lots of predefined macro presets. Core improvements have also been made to the highly popular hybrid shape. For example, the button above the mouse wheel has been made larger and there’s now a toggle switch below the mouse wheel; the 4D mouse wheel is now made from extremely durable metal; and with the EasyShift[+] button, each of the 10 programmable buttons plus the mouse wheel can be assigned a second function – giving gamers direct access to up to 22 functions. As before, the highly praised Multicolor Light System can light up the Kone[+] in up to four colors simultaneously; the colors can alternate or rotate – with virtually no limits to their configuration. In addition, the mouse can be made up to 20g heavier thanks to its four weights.
